In a TED address, she ‘performs’ her poem called “If I should have a daughter” then follows it up with a passionate and warm apologia for the form. Another commanding practitioner is Taylor Mali.)
About A Word or Two
Jacques Barzun wrote a book called 'A Word or Two Before You Go' about language and words, their beauty and their impact on thought and action. When I read, which I do a lot, I find ideas and phrases that are so wonderfully expressed that I want to say them out loud to others . . . This is out loud.
